Hi {{first_name}} -
There’s a moment almost everyone hits on a GLP-1 where the scale just… stops. And it messes with your head fast. I see so many people start panicking if they don’t lose weight one week. Because up until that point, things felt easy. Predictable. You were slowly chugging along.
Then suddenly it’s not moving the same way, and your brain goes straight to:
What am I doing wrong? Did the medication stop working? Is this it?
And almost immediately, you take to Facebook and say “HELP!” and the advice is:
eat less
exercise more
cut out all carbs
eat only protein
I get why people say that. It sounds logical. Just TRY HARDER. But doubling down and restricting MORE is actually the worst thing you can do.
Because most plateaus are not about a lack of effort. They’re about things you’re not even thinking about. Things like water retention, constipation, moving less throughout the day, not getting enough protein, losing muscle, poor sleep, stress, or even just being a little inconsistent with your medication.
So instead of actually fixing the issue, people panic. They eat less… which usually means less protein… which can lead to more muscle loss… which can slow everything down.
They try to exercise more… while under-fueled… which adds stress… which makes your body hold ONTO fat for dear life. All of this is simply bad advice.
The bottom line is this: A plateau doesn’t mean something is broken.
It usually just means something small needs to be adjusted. Not overhauled. Not punished. Just adjusted.
What actually works is the opposite. ONE small change. Not every change at once.
The bad advice I see out there is exactly why I put together The Plateau Breakthrough Playbook. My goal is to help you figure out if you’re actually in a plateau or just experiencing normal weight loss noise, what type of plateau you’re dealing with, and what to change first instead of guessing.
In the guide, you’ll find a simple decision tree, a 4-week plan that focuses on one change at a time, and a breakdown of all the things that quietly stall progress that no one really explains well. My goal is to help you find the one small thing you can start doing this week to get things moving again, rather than push HARDER so your body holds on even more.
To sweeten the deal, when you purchase the new Plateau Breakthrough Playbook before Friday, April 10th, I’ll send you a code within 24 hours of your purchase to get 1 month free of the Foundation level membership so you can give it a try.
The membership is where we take everything a step further to give you real-life application, ongoing support, and a place to ask questions when things don’t feel as straightforward as they should.
So stop guessing or restricting and learn about how to navigate plateaus with sanity in the new playbook.
Sponsors of the Week

If you’re taking a GLP-1 medication, you’ve probably noticed your appetite is a lot lower, which often means smaller meals and fewer chances to get the nutrition your body needs. This is why what we choose to snack on becomes so important.
One snack I like to recommend is Harvest Snaps Lightly Salted Baked Veggie Snacks. They’re made with green peas as the first ingredient and deliver 5g of whole-food protein and 4g of gut-friendly fiber, two essential and satiating nutrients to support healthy weight loss goals. These real veggie crisps are crunchy, savory, and satisfying straight out of the bag, and also pair great with things like hummus, cottage cheese, or a meat stick for an extra protein boost.
Plus, they’re minimally processed and free from common allergens, including gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, and soy. If you’d like to try them, head to harvestsnaps.com and enter SNAPS15 at checkout for 15% off your order, now through June 30.

On a GLP-1 journey, it’s not just about weight loss; it’s about supporting your body through change. That’s why I’m excited to share BariMelts, a brand created specifically for people using GLP-1 medications and those who’ve had bariatric surgery.

What’s Happening This Week
On the podcast this week, I interviewed registered dietitian Cassandra Lepore about healthy snacking on GLP1. I also interviewed Jess Perreca, all about how he lost 200 pounds (TWICE) and how he is approaching weight loss differently now on GLP1.
Over on YouTube, I published a video about how to know when you have to go up on your dose + some new information about Eli Lily’s new oral pill, orfoglipron/Foundayo.
Thank you so much for being here! See you next week!
